kacamata tanpa lapisan perlindungan. Namun pemakaiannya harus diikuti oleh pemeliharaan yang baik dan
tepat. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis menggunakan metode Deskriptif dari data kepustakaan baik cetak maupun
elektronik. Salah satunya adalah karya Sarah Morgab dalam bukunya “The Complete Optometric Assistan”
yang menyatakan bahwa lapisan anti refleksi dtidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas tapi mengurangi tampilan
mengkilap pantulan dari permukaan lensa dan menghapus tampilan “seperti kaca” penampilan kacamata dan
memungkinkan mata si pemakai terlihat dan memungkinkan kontak mata jadi lebih baik. Oleh karenanya
diperlukan pemahaman akan kegunaan dari lapisan anti refleksi tersebut.

Protective coatings on organic lenses offer several advantages over eyeglasses without a protective
coating. However, its use must be followed by good and proper maintenance. In this paper, the authors use
descriptive methods from both printed and electronic library data. One of them is which states that the antireflection coating not only improves the quality but reduces the “shine” appearance of the reflection from the
lens surface and removes the "grassy" appearance of the spectacles and allows the wearer's eyes to be visible
and allows for better eye contact and make vision comfort. Therefore an understanding of the usefulness of the
anti-reflection layer is required.
