Abstract

The process of cutting the edges of single vision lenses manually has the risk of inaccuracies in its installation. In the process, standard operating procedures are needed in the lens cutting process. This study uses a descriptive experimental method to find out how accurate the process of cutting the edge of the lens is using the correct standard operating procedure, the results of the experiment are that respondents who use standard operating procedures have an accuracy of 80% of cutting results, while those who do not use standard operating procedures are 20%, Therefore, a dispenser in cutting lenses must carry out standard operating procedures properly so that the quality of the cutting edge of the lens is precise and accurate
Proses pemotongan tepi lensa single vision secara manual memiliki risiko ketidak akuratan dalam pemasangannya. Dalam prosesnya standar operasional prosedur sangat
diperlukan dalam proses pemotongan lensa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif experimental untuk mengetahui seberapa akurasi proses pemotongan tepi lensa menggunakan standar operasional prosedur yang benar, hasil experimen di dapat responden yang menggunakan standar operasional prosedur memiliki akurasi ketepatan hasil pemotongan sebesar 80%, Sedangkan yang tidak menggunakan standar operasional prosedur 20%, Oleh karena itu seorang dispenser dalam melakukan pemotongan lensa harus menjalankan standar operasional prosedur dengan baik agar kualitas hasil pemotongan tepi lensa tepat dan akurat.
