This study aims to describe the effect of distance learning on students' refractive status changes at SDN 001 Sepaku East Kalimantan in 2023. Distance learning has become a significant phenomenon in the educational context since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. In this situation, students are required to follow the learning process through online platforms without face-to-face interaction with teachers and classmates. The research method used is descriptive research, with the research sample consisting of students at SDN 001 Sepaku. Data collection was carried out through visual observation and eye health checks, such as vision tests and eye refraction measurements. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively to describe changes in students' refractive status. The results showed that distance learning has the potential to affect students' refractive status changes for Myopia: There was an increase from Myopia: 50 students (50%) became (60%), Hypermetropia: 20 students (20%) became (10%), while Astigmatism: 30 students (30%) remained the same after distance learning. This shows that there is an influence on students' refractive status.
