ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the impact of using contact lenses and how much influence soft contact lenses have on dry eyes. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods with percentage calculations through google form data processing. The sampling method in this study used a random sampling technique with the Slovin formula. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS version 20, which results from 10 respondents; there are six respondents (60%) who are at the age of 17. In addition, the results from the research also obtained; the impact of using soft contact lenses, generate the red eyes is 70%, the effect of using soft contact lenses on dry eyes based on the category of choosing contact lenses not based on the water content is 80%, feeling something is up by 80%, and causing dry eyes is 70%. It can be interpreted that there is a strong relationship between the effect of using soft contact lenses on dry eyes in 11th-grade students of KP1 Letris Vocational High School Indonesia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa dampak penggunaan lensa kontak dan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan lensa kontak lunak terhadap mata kering. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan perhitungan presentase melalui olah data googleform. Sistem pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode teknik random sampling dengan rumus slovin. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu SPSS versi 20, yang menghasilkan dari 10 responden berusia 17 tahun yaitu 6 orang (60%). Adanya dampak penggunaan lensa kontak lunak yaitu mata menjadi merah sebesar (70%). Pengaruh penggunaan lensa kontak lunak terhadap dry eyes berdasarkan kategori memilih lensa kontak tidak berdasarkan kadar air sebesar (80%), merasa ada yang mengganjal sebesar (80%) dan mata kering (70%). Terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara pengaruh penggunaan lensa kontak lunak terhadap dry eyes pada siswi kelas 11 KP1 SMK Kesehatan Letris Indonesia.
