The purpose ofthis study was to describe the convenience ofusing progressive lenses and kryptok lenses in Sinar Baru Optics patients. This research method uses a qualitative observational method (case study). The results achieved in this study are that the Optometrist Refractionist must understand the types ofprogressive lenses according to the patient's needs, the accuracy and expertise ofthe Opticent Refractionist are very much needed in patient PV placement, the importance ofcompleteness ofLayout equipment in the dispensing laboratory for smoothness in the progressive lens layout process, the
importance of Optimist Refractionist Choosing the right frame for progressive lenses that suit the patient's needs, optiinist refractionists are able to master the progressive lens layout technique in order to produce progressive glasses that are comfortable to wear by the wearer. And a bifocal lens is one type ofmutifocal lens. Bifocal lenses have two points offocus or refractive power. Bifocal lenses are divided into several types based on the segment on the bifocal lens. Each type of bifocal lens has its advantages and disadvantages. The choice oflenses to be used should pay attention to many factors and be adjusted to the patient's needs.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kenyamanan penggunaan lensa progressive dan lensa kryptok pada pasien Optik Sinar Baru. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif Observasional (Studi Kasus). Hasil yang dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah Refraksionis Optisien harus memahami jenis-jenis lensa progressive sesuai keperluan pasien, ketelitian dan keahlian Refraksionis Optisien sangat dibutuhkan dalam penitikan PV pasien, pentingnya kelengkapan peralatan Layout dalam laboratorium dispensing untuk kelancaran dalam proses layout lensa progressive, pentingnya Refraksionis Optisien memilih frame yang cocok untuk lensa Progressive yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasien, refraksionis optisien mampu menguasai teknik layout lensa progressive agar dapat menghasilkan kacamata progressive yang nyaman dipakai oleh pemakai. Serta lensa bifocal adalah salah satu jenis dari lensa muktifokal. Lensa bifocal memiliki dua titik fokus atau kekuatan refraksi. Lensa bifocal terbagi atas beberapa jenis berdasarkan segmen pada lensa bifocal tersebut. Masing-masing jenis lensa bifocal memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Pemilihan lensa yang akan digunakan hendaknya memperhatikan banyak faktor dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasien.
