Contact lenses are one of the most convenient visual aids to use. This research was conducted on 15 respondents of Optik Titus customers with an age range between 20-30 years. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using contact lenses during activities and to determine the benefits felt by patients in using contact lenses when outside activities. From the processing of the data obtained, it shows that from the results of the research on the processing of the questionnaire activity, 15 respondents used contact lenses when working less than 6 hours and 15 respondents also often used contact lenses outdoors using contact lenses. In the results of data processing obtained from the results ofthe study as many as 13 respondents or 87% of respondents used contact lenses when doing outdoor activities, whether physical activity or not. So from the result of this study it can be said that the provisional hypothesis is that the use ofspherical soft contact lenses is effective for myopic patients who have activity at Optik Titus is accepted with a percentage of 87% ofrespondents
choosing to use contact lenses over glasses.
abstrak
Lensa kontak merupakan salah satu alat bantu penglihatan yang sangat nyaman dalam penggunaanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 15 responden pelanggan Optik Titus dengan rentang usia antara 20-30 tahun. Tujuan pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengguna lensa kontak pada saat beraktivitas dan untuk mengetahui manfaat yang dirasa pasien dalam menggunakan lensa kontak pada saat aktivitas di luar. Dari pengolahan data yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil penelitian pengolahan kuesioner aktivitas sebanyak 15 responden menggunakan lensa kontak pada saat bekerja kurang dari 6 jam dan sebanyak 15 responden juga sering menggunakan lensa kontak di luar ruangan. Dalam hasil pengolahan data yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian ini sebanyak 13 responden atau sebesar 87% responden menggunakan lensa kontak pada saat melakukan aktivitas diluar ruangan baik aktivitas fisik maupun tidak. Sehingga dari hasil penelitian ini dapat dikatakan bahwa hipotesis sementara bahwa Pengguna lensa kontak lunak spheris efektif bagi pasien myopia yang memiliki aktivitas di Optik Titus diterima dengan presentase sebesar 87% responden memilih menggunakan lensa kontak dibandingkan kacamata.
